Mini sessions people book themselves

Put the code on a flyer. Wake up to a full day.

Pro

Mini sessions only make money if filling them is not a job in itself. Slate turns a day of slots into a link and a QR code that does the booking, the deposit and the roster without you in the middle of it.

Who it is for: Portrait, family, pet and holiday photographers running themed session days.

1

Set up the day

Pick the date, the hours, how long each session runs and how much it costs. Slate generates the slots.

2

Share the code

Every session day gets its own public booking page and a QR code for it. Put the code on a flyer, a story, a shop window or a print piece made in Slate's own Creative tab.

3

They pick a slot and pay

People choose a time and pay — in full, or a deposit if that is how you want to run it. The slot is theirs and disappears from the list. No back and forth, no double bookings.

What a customer sees: the open slots, and a pay button.

4

Work from the roster on the day

Your roster shows who is coming and when, who has paid and who still owes. On the day itself it surfaces on the dashboard so it is the first thing you see.

Also included

  • Deposit or full payment, set per event
  • A failed balance flagged on the roster rather than discovered later
  • The day's roster shown on the dashboard automatically
  • Galleries delivered to each booking afterwards like any other job

The whole point of mini sessions is volume. Anything that needs a message per booking defeats them.
